  1. Nice episode! It feels like we're visiting. And -- wow -- I love your background. LOL

    1. Thank you so much Cathie. I was definitely more comfortable this time. I feel a little chatty at the end. I guess I just need to work on how to end it better. There is nothing I would like more than to have everyone feel comfortable with the show. That is what it is about, creating an atmosphere where we feel safe to share some of those things that we are not quite so proud of or asking for a little support.

Take care and there will be more "background" to look at hopefully in the next episode.

  2. Great episode, Coby! I have Simple Modern Sewing and I love it too! I was just looking at Alabama Stitch Sewing + Design on Amazon. All it took was for you to confirm for me that it is a good book. I'm buying it tonight! I think we have the same taste in simple shapes, but with unique designs and embellishments. I look forward to getting back to making clothing.

    1. Of the three books this is definitely the one to get. There is just something about all the different embelishments in it that I fell in love with. Please share your projects with us. I know I would love to see them and share with all of my crafty friends out there.

Enjoy your boook when it arrives!

  3. Coby, Great episode. I do have one comment. You are a girlie girl! I will try to be good and send some pictures. I did learn from 2 o'clock Sue, it is okay to have stash for multiple years. She buys great yarn at even better prices and waits for the project to come to her. That was my New Year's Revolution. Yes, I changed it to Revolution. I put my stash on Ravelry, so it is always a smart phone away. I have found patterns for yarn that I purchased. Whether I will get to the project is another issue altogether.

Frog the socks and the turtleback. I have sugar cane yarn I have frogged 3 times now. You helped find the newest project I am going to try with it. Hope 4th time is the charm.

    Keep up the great work.

  4. Keep up the great work! Love to see your sewing - I also want to get back into it too. Sorry, my workspace is neat, but that doesn't mean I don't like to see messy ones!
